Ways to Keep Your Hair Healthy all Summer


As the hotter months are approaching, we all want to know how to protect our hair. Here are a few tips to help your hair survive the summer:

1. Deep Conditioning Masks 

Everyone needs to use deep conditioning masks all year around, but it's even more important during the summer. The mask will ensure your hair gets the hydration it needs.

2. Leave-in Conditioner

Leave-in Conditioner will help to prevent your hair from drying out on those extra hot days. 

3. Oil

Adding a few drops of hair oil will keep your ends from splitting, due to the high temperatures. 

4. Water

Before getting into the pool, rinse your hair with water from the shower. This is especially important for blondes; this small step will keep your hair from turning green from the pool water. It's also important to rinse your hair immediately after getting out of the pool, so the pool water doesn't dry out your hair and cause damage. 

5. Brushing 

Don't skip this test, it's so important! Brushing your hair gets all the oils from your roots down to the ends of your hair. 

6. Hat

Now I’m not saying you have to wear a hat all summer long. However, if you're going to be outside for an extended amount of time, this might be a good idea. Wearing a hat will help prevent your scalp from getting burnt.
